The guy in charge
His experience in the Animation field has not only been limited to the Original Story or Executive Production of the well-known “Despicable Me” Feature Animation Movie. His career includes credits as Supervising Animator for the following Disney titles: “Tarzan”, “Hunchback of Notre Dame, “Hercules”, and “Treasure Planet”, just to name a few.
Sergio’s work has led him to be nominated twice to the Annie Awards: for his Character Design work on “Rio” (Fox Pictures), and for his Character Animation on “Treasure Planet” (Disney).
Currently, Sergio is focusing on the development of Original Stories and production for Feature Animation Movies.
Her professional background started in the Marketing & Communications fields and she has worked not only in Spain but also in Europe and the United States.
In Los Angeles she was employed for several years at the Walt Disney Studios in the Communications Dept., where she acted as a liaison between the Studio’s Animated productions and sixteen other divisions of the Company. She performed these tasks for Productions such as “Hercules”, “Tarzan”, “Mulan” and “A Bug’s Life”.
Back in Spain, she was hired as the Madrid Convention Bureau (Madrid City Hall) as its Head of European Department and since 2004 she has acted as Executive Producer for The SPA Studios, overviewing every project the company has been involved in.
The keeper of order amidst the chaos
Matthew has over 30 years experience in film making, specializing in animation and digital production. Working as an Executive, Producer and Manager he has worked on over a dozen Animated movies as well as DTV Specials, Short Films, TV Series, Game Cinematics and Visual Effects projects.
His first film was ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ before spending 10 years with DreamWorks Animation, working on several movies starting with ‘The Prince of Egypt’. Then as VP of Production at Starz Animation, his work covered a large spectrum from Animated Feature films (‘9' and ‘Gnomeo & Juliet’) to direct-to-video specials (‘Veggie Tales’ and ‘Yes Virginia’), and home-grown short films.
