Gru, a criminal mastermind who wants the title of “World’s Greatest Villain”, plots the ultimate crime: STEALING THE MOON! What he doesn’t know is that his plans may change a little with the arrival of three little girls who steal something from him: his heart.

The 2010 American computer-animated film Despicable Me produced by Illumination Entertainment and directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud had its origins at The SPA Studios, from a concept created by Sergio Pablos, who went on to become an Executive Producer on the film.

Despicable Me received several nominations for the Annie Awards, one nomination for the BAFTA Awards and Golden Globe Awards and other Festivals. It also got the Kids Choice Award for Favourite Animated Movie.
